I created a Pocket Sudoku (VOL 1) book for adults. Finished the product, got it published on Amazon. Sold over 100 copies in the first few weeks and I was super happy with the way it was going!
And then, a 2-star review showed up, saying my book has sudoku puzzles with multiple solutions, titled "bad algorithms". BAM! I realized I sold "defective product" to my customers and felt very miserable about it the next few days.
Over the next 2 days and nights, I fixed the book interior. Double checking every single sudoku for multiple solutions! Still feeling very sad about the situation; but reminding myself what happened, happened. I cannot turn back time to fix that mistake like in the 'Avenger: Endgame' or 'Back to the Future' movies!
I communicated the issue with my puzzle software provider and they acknowledged and fixed the issue in about 2 weeks. They basically rebuilt their whole sudoku tool from the ground up! I was amazed by it and very grateful that they heard my concern!
Anyhow, I managed to finish creating and double-checking my new Pocket Sudoku book. Along with the revision, I left an apology note. Coz I messed up, big time!
In summary, watch out for those multiple solutions in sudoku puzzles! They are not fun for the customers, in general. Although I received a positive review saying the customer received a multiple solution book but enjoyed it as it adds some extra spices into the game!
My apology note is still left in my Book Description, if you want to read that: Link to Book on Amazon
